January 1, 2007
To Whom it may concern:
The Jared Raymond Memorial Fund Committee is currently seeking
donations for a fundraiser on Saturday January 27, 2007 at the
Franco-American Post, 535 Western Ave in Lynn.
Specialist Jared J. Raymond, U.S. Army, who resided in Swampscott
was killed on September 19, 2006 while serving in Iraq.
We, along with Jared’s mother Jackie and her family and friends
will be raising money to benefit the memorial fund in Jared’s
name. Jackie would like to distribute the funds raised to several
organizations that were important to Jared, a few of which will be,
local ROTC programs, Scholarships to Camp Rotary, as well as sending
much needed supplies to Jared’s fellow soldiers who are still
serving in Iraq.
Donations needed at this time are Raffles Items, Silent Auction
Items, Gift Certificates, Food Donations, or Monetary donations to
defray the costs of the fundraiser.
Please consider making a donation today. If we can be of any
assistance in your decision you can reach Jackie Raymond at the
