Mickey Ward and Team Mickey will be hosting a run May 5th Leaving the Big Kahuna Grill & Bar in Chelmsford, MA @ 10:30am sharp and has a $15.00 donation per rider

The ride will be through the back roads of Mass and NH with a stop in Derry NH (TBD) finishing back at The Big Kahuna For our Cinco DeMayo celebration

Festivities will include a live entertainment from the band Diezel, BBQ$$, give-a-ways, raffles, of course margaritas and Corona...plus a whole lot more. Beer reps will be on hand with promotional items.

Team Mickey benefits many charities and organizations throughout the area.

1st 200 paid riders will receive a personalized signed autograph with Mickey.

Come out and meet Mickey and enjoy one of the first rides of the year. It's still a little early so dress for the weather!!!

Registration begins at 1100am. Bikes leave RJ"s at 1200pm.
Registration is $20.00 per bike which includes passenger.
Bikes leave RJ's head through downtown Nashua onto the Daniel Webster Highway
and into Tyngsborough Ma. the old rte 3 into Chelmsford Ma ending up at Camp

From there we will take (back roads)to the Elks of North  Smithfield RI, from there we will head to the Elks of Putnum CT. Cards will be drawn 1 on the way out 1 at each stop and 2 when we get back, at that time we will have dinner, there will also be lunch on the road and liquid refreshments. The cost is $20 per person(food included).This a GREAT CAUSE don't forget the VET!!

The Mass Chapter Law Dogs Motorcycle Club along with Family & Friends will host an event in the memory of 19 yr old Pfc. Brian M. Moquin, Jr. from Worcester, MA. He was a Cavalry Scout assigned to A Troop, 3rd Squadron, 71st Cavalry Regiment, 10th Mtn. Division (LI), Fort Drum, N.Y. Brian was tragically killed along with 9 fellow soldiers on May 5, 2006 in Kunar Province, Afghanistan when the Chinook helicopter they were on crashed while conducting combat operations in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.  He, as well as all other soldiers that have paid the ultimate sacrifice & those that are still fighting for OUR FREEDOM will NEVER be forgotten.

St. Mary School in Putnam , CT invites all motorcyclists to a Blessing of the Bikes Poker Bike Run on May 6, 2007. The donation is $25.00 (single) or $45.00 (single/rider). Donation includes poker hand, chicken BBQ meal and entertainment. Prizes for best poker hand will be awarded.

The event will begin with first card draw/registration from 8:30 AM until 9:30 AM at the Putnam Municipal Parking Lot located on Kennedy Drive in Putnam , CT. Following the Blessing of the Bikes, the ride will begin promptly at 9:45 AM. Bike stops will include the American Eagle Saloon & Café: Ashford , CT and the Rain Desert Café: Danielson , CT. The ride will then end back at the grounds of St. Mary Church in Putnam, CT where there will be a chicken BBQ and live entertainment provided by the Outlyers. Non-riders are also welcome to come and enjoy the chicken BBQ and entertainment at the church grounds for a $10.00 donation. Come tour the Cape with us and enjoy our second annual UPS Ride for Literacy. This year we are welcoming classic cars as well! The scenic tour covers nearly 100 miles of Cape Cod beaches and towns. All proceeds benefit Cape Cod Child Development Head Start/Preschool Literacy initiatives. The cost for pre-registered riders/drivers is $20 and $5 for passengers.($25 and $5 the day of the ride) A limited number of ride t-shirts will be available. Please bring a preschool book to be distributed to local Head Start children. Lunch,

Malcom Jay Whitman Memorial Mototcycle Run leaves from EMC (off of
West Main St.)in Hopkinton, MA at 9:00am sharp! Registration begins at 7am.
Malcom was struck by a vehicle while riding his motorcyle a few months ago. He
died seven days later. Malcolms daughter Emma celebrated her first birthday in
the waiting room while Malcom struggled for his life. THe proceeds from this
Memorial Run go directly to Emma's Trust Fund. Malcom is also survived by his
wife Andrea and his twin brother Trevor, a member of the Christian Motorcyclist
Association. The ride travels along routes 495, 2 & 68. It ends at "The Cross"
on John Hardy Road in Barre, MA. There will be a memorial service for Malcolm
there and also music and a buffet to celebrate his life. The cost is $10.00 per

 Confirmed date   May 20  (Sunday) The Seventh Annual ADESA Boston Classic Car and Motorcycle Run
Join ADESA Boston for our 7th annual Classic Car and Motorcycle Run.
This year’s run will benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. To date, ADESA has raised close to $150,000 for different Children’s Charities. Last year’s event featured 200 motorcycles, 100 classic cars, and raised over $25,000 for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

The Run will begin and end at the ADESA Boston Auto Auction site in Framingham MA. Following the Run, there will be Raffles and a Charity Auction. Music will be provided by 93.7 MIKE FM. Food and Beverages will be available at the event. All participants will receive an event t-shirt with the names of the sponsors.

Don’t have a classic car or bike and would still like to join the fun? Come on down! The public is invited to join us and view the cars, and participate in the charity auctions. There is a $5 walk in fee which will benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. All of our resources are donated and volunteer. That means we are able to give 100% of the proceeds to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

WHEN: Sunday, May 20, 2007. Check in starts at 9:00 AM. Run leaves at 11:00 AM sharp.

WHERE: the ADESA Boston Auto Auction site, 63 Western Ave, Framingham MA.

The Manomet Mystery Riders will be holding their 6th Annual Blessing of the Bikes in Plymouth MA.

Jared Connors, 2-year-old only son of Ricky and Reia Briggs-Connors, suffers from a rare and terminal illness known as Sanfilippo disease. The family is well known in the Metropolitan Boston area. Reia is co-founder of the Phunk Phenomenon Dance Company in Everett and Ricky has been an Everett police officer for nearly six years.
The fund is set up to help the Connors and other children who suffer from this disease by raising money for research into a cure.
Event sponsored by Boston Harley Davidson. Registration fee: $25.00 pp. Registration from 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM. Ride leaves at 12:00 PM Sharp. Join Steve DeOssie, and other well known celebrities for a fun filled day to raise money for the Jared Fund. Police Escorted 80 mile scenic ride. FREE BBQ & refreshments at end of the run. Live Bands all day, clowns, face painters for children, games for kids, vendors, and more! Join us for our 6th Annual Bike Bless in Metrowest. RIDE WITH A BLESSING! Bike line up at 11:30AM, Blessing at 12:00 noon and Run for "Bread of Compassion" at 12:30PM.
Bread of Compassion is a humanitarian non-profit organization which helps the poor, orphans and disadvantaged people around the world by providing them relief and aid.

Cost for the run is $20.00 per bike. Run will last one hour from Wayland through scenic roads and back to the church. Followed by a B-B-Q.

The Bike Bless will be held at the Celebration International Church located on RT. 30 & Loker St. in Wayland, MA. There will be food, a live bluze band, and lots of give a ways prizes. John Gregoire had a heart annerism which caused the loss of his legs. He is currently in a rehabilitation center in Salem, Massachusetts. He was a former musician with Gary Hoey.

Gary Hoey will be making an appearance upon our return from the bike run and we will be auctioning off one of his autographed guitars.

Time:
Registration: 8:30 – 9:45 am (complimentary breakfast)
Leaving the Avenue Pub at 10:00 am sharp
Returning to the Avenue Pub approximately 4:30 pm

Cost:
$10.00 per person and $5.00 per poker hand
(Poker card holders will win best and worst hand.
All poker cards must be submitted by 6:00 pm to be eligible.)

Vermont Vietnam Veterans Memorial at the Northbound I-89 Sharon Welcome Center MAY 27, 2007

The event is Vermont Thunder XV to honor our Veterans and Still Missing POW’s  and MIA’s from all wars, past and present. This ride is approx. 125 miles of  some of the finest motorcycling roads in the country. The ride will start at  the Vermont Vietnam Veterans Memorial located at the Sharon Welcome Center on  I-89 Northbound. Staging will start at 9:00 AM with a wreath laying at 11:00 AM  and depart at 11:30 for Richmond Vt., exit 11 I-89N. There will be coffee and  cold drinks provided before the ride. In addition Vermont Thunder Patches and  Pins as well as flags will be sold before the start of the ride. All funds, 100%, raised from the sales of the patches, pins and flags as well as money donated goes to Veterans and the their Families in need! From Richmond Recycling Center on RT 117 we will depart at approx. 1:45 PM, following routes 117, 2A & 7 to 105 in St. Albans with our final destination of Enosburg, Vt. where there will be ceremonies and a luncheon to follow at the! American Legion. Come and join 100’s of other bikes and bikers from all the north east section of the Country pay homage to those Still Missing POW’s and MIA’s. The ride is a no cost ride but any and all donations are greatly
appreciated and as stated, goes to Veterans and their Families in need. The ride will take place rain or shine and is for all brands of bikes. Spectators are welcome and encouraged to come and send off the riders, bring the lawn chairs and give the riders a big send off! The THUNDER web site is:

In our 10th year of offering women a place where they can improve their skills in a safe testosterone-free zone, free of verbal harassment and with as much pampering as we can supply. Just knowing there are other riders with the same fears and riding experiences helps. Powerpoint and on-track video lessons, covering everything from proper body positioning, late apex turning to advance braking techniques.
 
From newbies to experienced riders,  the Women's Riding School is a not a race school nor just an ordinary track day.. we truly are a riding school.
 
We have it all: raffle prizes, event T-shirts, diploma's, student handbooks, the CamBike, great food, superb instructors, a professional race photographer, and other surprises for 2007 -  as well as very happy students. 
 
We are currently accepting reservations for the day. We have a 60 rider cap so make sure you reserve quickly.  The day will be here before you know it.
