NOT just for bikers....even if you do not ride a motorcycle, the fun for
you will start after the ride....DJ, band playing and the funniest lady on
the South Shore!!
Sign up is from 11 a.m. and should take off from Hilltop Athletic Club
in Kingston at 12:30. Registration will be onsite but if anyone
wants any information or to register ahead of time they can email nick56r@gmail.com.
Following the ride there will be an italian meal, the Chowda Heads band
playing, DJ Jay Fiori and Boston's own funniest lady, Christine Hurley.
All for $25, with passengers $15. Lots of prizes, raffles and fun.

help other....now we need to step up and help her out.

On October 2nd we are holding a fundraiser for a friend of mine Nancy (Rello)
Buchanan, who has resided in Weymouth, Hingham and Pembroke. She is a
single Mom of 3 boys, just had a double mastectomy and will be having
chemo/radi...ation
until Xmas time. We have a Mealtrain going for her, but she needs $$$$.
She has agreed to let us have a fundraiser for her as long as she can help
and she will continue to do it herself for others in need on a yearly
basis. Why I am telling you this, is we are starting it off with a
motorcycle ride and that makes me think of YOU!! The Chowderheads will
play after the ride, we have Jay Fiori as our DJ as well as comic
Christine Hurley performing for an hour....it will start at 11/12ish in
Kingston. Lots of fun, raffles, prizes, etc.... It is $25 and that gets
you a tshirt, a meal, and the entertainment...we are just finalizing
details...but I hope you will come and gather up some friends to do so as
well...She is a special person whose life has had TOO many downs and she
is the first one to help others...she is a giver....look for more info,
but please keep it in mind!! Tell your friends...GOOD TIMES

United We Stand Together We Ride for Cystic Fibrosis,
presented by 100.3 WHEB, ROCK 101 WGIR FM, and The Morning Buzz, draws
hundreds of New England motorcyclists every year to Gunstock Mountain
Resort in Gilford, NH for live entertainment, lunch, t-shirts, raffle
prizes, and more!
The ride will be held Sunday, October 3, 2010; rain date Sunday,
October 17, 2010. In case of inclement weather, a rain date will be
announced no later than Friday, October 1 on 100.3 WHEB, ROCK 101 WGIR

KORNEGAY FAMILY BENEFIT BIKE RUN
The Progressive Club 139 Seaver Ave,Somerset,MA is holding a
bike run in memory of Steve Kornegay who sadly passed away on August 20,
2010. Steve was an organizer of many bike runs and fundraisers, he was
always the first to help. Join us on this day as we honor a great man.
Registration is from 9AM to 11Am. Step off is 11:15 sharp. Riders will
arrive back at the SPC at approximately 12:30pm. Do not need a bike to
attend. Tickets are $25 and first 200
tickets sold will receive a T-Shirt. Your ticket will include a meal and
free draft beer. There will be other drinks for purchase. The event will
also have raffles and music for your entertainment.

“A Party
with a Purpose” to benefit Community Nurse and Hospice Care, Visiting
Nurse Association serving Southeastern Massachusetts.
Fairhaven,
MA, 24 August 2010 – Chest Fest 2010 is a Tent Party and Bike Run
which is being held on the grounds of the Ice Chest Bar & Grille on
Sunday, October, 10, 2010. The party will be held under a 5,000 square
foot tent where a full stage will host multiple bands throughout the
day. Some of the bands who will donate their services include J. Kelley,
Shipyard Wreck, The Relics, Johnny Edwards Power of Soul and Living on a
Bad Name. Nationally renowned bike builder Dave Perewitz will be on hand
and will display many of his custom bikes built by his namesake Perewitz
Cycle Fabrication. A full cash bar will be available and a fall-themed
dinner will be served under the tent as well. There will be vendors
onsite including Minuteman Harley Davidson, Bay State Leather and
Jewelry by Vicki.
The party
kicks off as hundreds of thundering bikes depart in formation. The Bike
Run will leave from the Ice Chest at noon with police escort.
Registration for the run starts at 10:30. The ride will travel through
several local towns on a scenic tour and return to the Ice Chest for the
festivities. A motorcycle however is not required to attend the party.
Everyone is welcome. A donation of $25.00 per person is requested with
all proceeds going to Community Nurse and Hospice Care. Tickets are
available at the Ice Chest or through Community Nurse.
Last
year as beneficiary of Chest Fest 2009, Community Nurse received a check
for $17,000.00. Almost 600 hundred bikes participated in the run and
hundreds of others joined the party to make this an incredibly
successful community event. Everyone involved appreciates the support.

holding the 1st Annual Toy Run. Meet at the Hanover Mall Rte 53 in
Hanover Ma. Registration 9:30 to 11AM. Lv Hanover Mall at 11AM for a
ride with Mr and Mrs Santa Claus on the back roads to the Plymouth
Waterfront and then to the American Legion Post 40 on Federal Furnace Rd
in Plymouth. Donation of $15 or a new $15 toy. Lunch is included.

Tickets are just $15 in advance - $20 at the door! Appetizers and
desserts served, live music, cash bar, raffles, costume prizes, and
dancing. All money raised goes to the Fund for the Needy through St.
Bonaventure's church in Manomet at Thanksgiving and Christmas as well as
helping local Plymouth area families in need throughout the year.
