The country's FIRST tattoo shop inside a Harley Davidson dealership is set to open in Bruce Rossmeyer's Boston Harley Davidson on New Year's Day!

When you pull into the parking lot, you'll see a new awning announcing something different.  A tattoo shop has arrived!   What better place for one?   A location on busy Route 16, plenty of parking, as well as a steady stream of bikers and motorcycle enthusiasts.

Marco Ceritelli, the owner of Tattoo Asylum told Boston Biker's Editor that this was part of Bruce Rossmeyer's vision.   "He wanted his dealerships to be much more than just a dealership.  He wanted them to be a destination."

Opening a tattoo shop at the dealership is just one of the steps in that direction.

As you walk around the  Everett, MA dealership your eyes are drawn to a bright "TATTOO" neon sign.  Then you see a new large picture window cut into the wall and you are looking directly into a former storage room that has been converted to a full blown tattoo studio.

Just think about it.   This is the ultimate in convenience.  Go to the dealership for some service and get a tattoo while you wait.  Stop in for some parts or clothing and get a tatt.   Planning on going on one of the famous Boston Harley rides?  Get there early and ride with fresh ink.

A pre-opening tour of the studio revealed three tattoo stations complete with gleaming stainless steel sinks and work surfaces along with state-of-the-art sterilization equipment.  The comfortable waiting room has plenty of stock designs to check out.  What really sets this studio apart from 'traditional' studios is that it is the first one inside a motorcycle dealership.

During the Summer they expect to have three full time artists on staff.   When we were there, "Lord Dunce" was working on a client, "Sweets".    "You won't pay more for custom work over 'stock designs'" said Lord Dunce.   "I'd rather do custom work so why charge you more for what I'd prefer to be doing?".   With the talent in-house, you won't be waiting for your custom design either.  "We aren't going to ask you to drop off your design and then come back in two weeks to check out our artwork."

Ceritelli told us that they travel to the major rallies.  "We've already seen people here that we've done at Sturgis, Daytona, and Laconia.  We're going to continue to bring our top quality tattooing to the rallies."

Next time you are at the dealership stop in and check out the studio.
