I forget the exact policy of my HD guru, but I know he is not in the business of doing it, and I can't blame him.If something is wrong with the part and you try to lay the blame on him where does he go with it? If you have a good relationship with your mechanic he will treat you right on the parts. I know there are things you can get from guys with no overhead, running their business out of their den and drop shipping stuff to you the buyer, but where is that guy going to be if the wheel shows up bent, damaged, poor finish, wrong bearings... the additional price you pay the guy who is supporting a small shop buys you piece of mind. Lots of the smaller indy shops are hurting right now and could use your business. If you have something you are thinking about now might be the time to price it out. They need the work.Are there things I get on EBAY and say from Zanotti HD or Chicago HD? Sure, but those are parts I am installing myself, and if they are defective or hot I am the one holding the bag.
