From the moment you put the DVD in the player you are ready for more!  The High Definition concert footage is very well put together.  Fifteen High-Def cameras were used to record the raw footage and the top shelf production of the DVD reflects on the talent of the entire staff.  Each segment of the DVD blends nicely with the next and the crystal clear audio is perfectly balanced giving you a perception of being at the concert.

The DVD bonus features bring you back stage to meet the band and get their perspectives on the band's history, life on tour, and other aspects of being in one of the world's best selling bands.   Additionally, there is a "Sturgis 101" section that provides the background of the Sturgis Rally.

This is definitely a must see DVD.

LONG WAY DOWN, is a 3-DVD special edition collection of the 10-episode series with the same name that was broadcast on the Fox Reality Channel where a pair of friends embark on an 85 day, 15,000 mile motorcycle journey.

I have to admit, initially I wasn't looking forward to watching 10 hours of video.  Within a few minutes of watching the first segment I was hooked.  The extent of planning planning necessary for the trip gave a hint of things to come. 

Friends Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman, started at the northern most tip of Scotland and rode through 18 countries through Europe and Africa to Cape Agulhas in South Africa.  The videos show the challenges of the border crossings, the toll that the rough route took on the bikes, and the accidents that put the ride at risk.  This was more than just a ride...  Charley and Ewan took the time to get to know the people of each of the countries.  They even got a chance to meet a President!

As the final segment came to a close, I began to look forward to their next journey...    Check out the DVDs and you will feel the same way.
